Philippine Medial Missions Trip – 2011
The Philippine Medical Missions Team will be returning to the islands on May 4-18, 2011. The team will be providing medical assistance and evangelistic opportunities in several villages and orphanages of Nita Haas’ home island. The team needs the following items: Tylenol, multivitamins for adults and children, antibiotic creams, band aids, 1.5 to 3.0 strength reading glasses, children’s books, new or used Bibles, Christian magazines, clean infant/children summer clothing. Contact Bill Haas for information about the trip.
Brazil Construction Missions Trip – 2011
NLBC has sponsored Brazil Mission Trips for over a decade. In that time we have helped build ten churches, one community building where church services are held, a water facility, pastoral housing, and a dormitory for the IMB’s Amazon Race Journeyman Training Camp. The team members thank the congregation for their time, prayers, financial support, and words of encouragement as they are honored in representing NLBC and Christ in these international endeavors.
The next construction trip has plans to return for two weeks in July 2011 to construct a kitchen for the IMB’s Amazon Race Journeyman Training Camp outside of Manaus, Brazil. The Boas Novas Baptist Church of Manaus has opened their campsite to train journeymen for their two year commitment of service to the interior areas of Brazil where many unreached and unengaged people groups are located.
If you are interested in going, praying, or providing for this mission opportunity; contact Mark Griffin for details and information.
